“SALPLAN 5000” sheets are cast aluminum sheets made from the AlMg4.5Mn (3.3547) alloy.

After the casting process, the sheets undergo a special heat treatment and are then milled flat on both sides and coated on both sides.



Unlike rolled sheets, these cast sheets offer significant advantages:

excellent machinability, resulting in significant cost savings
low stress, resulting in high dimensional stability
homogeneous structure
very good polishability
very good anodizability

tensile strength: 240–290 N/mm²
0.2% yield strength: 130–150 N/mm²
elongation in % A5: 6–10
Brinell hardness: 70–75


Thickness tolerances:

±0.1 mm

Flatness tolerances:

Thickness: 5 to 15 mm: 0.35 mm/m

15.88 to 100 mm: 0.15 mm/m
